  2. Transparency on the topic of what it’s like to be a woman working in cybersecurity and the challenges that women continue to face
  3. Guidance for WiC Advocates who are looking to move up the ranks in the industry as well as those who are looking to get started on their career journey. We believe that there is space for people of all genders and backgrounds in cybersecurity and want to create constructive discussions, activities and talks on this subject to bring both awareness and change to our industries.

Participants Will Learn:

  • Career advice from WiC Advocates within the industry for others looking to move up and for those who wish to get started.  There will be resume reviews, 1:1 career advice with industry experts, headshots and more!
  • How to recognize scenarios in which gender inequality is present and how to address them in a professional manner.
  • How to create constructive dialogues within the workplace to address gender issues.
  • How to become an advocate to support women in cybersecurity.

What Should I Bring?

  •  A copy of your resume if you’d like a resume review and/or career advice.
  • Examples to share about how people can provide better support for each other.
  • An open mind for discussions and questions on our various topics.
  • For headshots, make sure you are attired in the way you’d like to portray yourself, professionally.
